I’m not sure where I can get good processing and developing done in Chicago… I am just looking for somewhere that has people who actually care about my film -O- not just dumping it into a machine and popping it out however. I don’t want to pay a higher price for the same lack of love (Wolf Camera vs Walgreens) but I am not aware of any other options…

If anyone knows, please let me in on the secrets!

I’m not a hipster photography lame-o (although, totally cool if you are…I just don’t like the weird atmosphere brought by being the only non-hipster photo kid in the store O_O) if that’s what you’re wondering… I just like to take pictures… and I had a roll of black and white film …that I got ON SALE!!!

It’s the Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain in ‘Flame’.
This is actually my 2nd one; my first was in the color ‘Victorian’ which was a nice darker version of my natural lip color! (But my lips actually have very low pigmentation I’ve been sickly looking since birth! >O< ) But ‘Flame’ was my first color of choice; I really liked how orangey-red it looked in the little squares that show you the color. They didn’t have it the first time I went, so I got ‘Victorian’ instead.

But BE CAREFUL! If you don’t draw it on (it’s a marker) well, it’s noticeable! My sister pointed it out at dinner
As a stain, I’d say it lasts pretty well! It even works well through dinners and CAKE and TEA! But if you put on lip balms like Burt’s Bees, the balm can really eat away at the stain and lift it off your lips! :O

It is an awesome&convenient line of lip stains. More so that the nail-polish-type brush of the benetint.

I haven’t tried the other similar types, but I have gone through half a bottle of Benefit benetint~ The wear is about the same. The most important thing is that it stays on naturally so my lack-of-pigment goes by UNNOTICED!

Last night Matt, Whitney and I went to the opening weekend of the Lincoln Park Zoo Lights!

We walked around from 6:30-9:00 (closing time) and looked at ALL the pretty lights and danced and sang to the music~

It was colder than we wanted it to be… but luckily there was free hot apple cider and hot chocolate! When we first got there, the lady at the entrance gate handed us some cardboard glasses and a sheet of paper (that Matt later explains was the map for where the wine was D: ) When you wear the glasses, you see all the bokeh of the lights as SNOWFLAKES! We walked around and first found the apple cider.

The cider/hot cocoa tent was sponsored by Keurig and the man in charge let me punch the top into the little individual cups and press the button to start it. The cider kept our hands warm until it cooled down so we were able to drink it. …considering the price of the machine and the price of the little flavoured drink cups for the machine, it was not very delicious of a cider.. oh well! IT WAS FREE AND HOT! We took some photoshoots by the Mini Coopers that were parked all around because they sponsored the ZooLights THANK YOU MINI COOPER! (And ComEd and Charter One and Motorola and Pepsi and United and LITE FM 93.9) Also the spotlights helped me with shutter-speed so I enjoyed the beautiful light for taking photos

We went to see the apes sleeping, the giraffe SNEEZE Get-up from laying down then have his light shut for sleeping time, watched the tiger sleep and then wake up for a bit, watched the fish sleep too, and donated my change for the conservation of the wild apes!

We were at the Cinderella’s-carriage looking thing and OUR SONG CAME ON! So we danced and sang along

For dinner, we went to Aloha Eats and Whitney and I shared a combo bbq platter; she ate the cabbage and I ate the macaroni salad. Then she took Matt’s cabbage home for lunch! I hope your lunch was delicious, Whitney!

I don’t like people being in view of my notebook/computer screen while I write.

It’s a very strange inferiority complex, I think. It makes me feel very violated when my writing process is being watched. This might have something to do with my paranoia of people taking me the wrong way…which is why I think a lot about what I say, before and after, to people. I feel like people are judging me as much as I am judging them. Of course this is not on a negative level, I just people watch very intently; I take it very seriously O___O

I can have my photography, editting, whatever be publicized as I am doing it but not my writing. I’m not even a big writer with works and stuff. It doesn’t matter if it is an essay or paper for school or if it is a blog post, or a tweet or status update on Facebook. I don’t like for people to be looking over my shoulder watching me type it. They can look at it all they want after I have finished and/or posted it to the world.

But I don’t like people watching me write.

That is why I practiced my swift, silent predator gliding I think I have become pretty good at distributing my weight accordingly to the surface. (What a fancy way to say that I was very good at sneaking around ) I longed to achieve the grace that Pocahontas possessed; showcased when she hid from John Smith upon Meeko’s first encounter with those delicious crackers.

I also took to running like Pocahontas. I would race the other kids and imagine my hair flowing like Pocahontas’s did, with the colors of the wind entwining every strand. Of course it didn’t actually flow like hers did…my hair was cut short

After stuffing our faces with turkey (none for me, personally I don’t enjoy the texture or taste) and various other traditional foods, there is a short rest period and then follows digging for money and layering on warm clothing. The Black Friday Deals– DUN-DUN-DUUUUNNNNNNNN!!

Christmas always bring me a sort of stress-and-joy mixed feeling. I am happy that school is over and that I get presents but also, it is hard to decide on presents for others… and to make sure I have enough money for it all too! It’s a good thing I don’t have a long list of friends whom I am close enough to exchange gifts :X YOU WERE ALL THINKING THAT TOO!!

The song is super..cliche and lame, it’s not Girls’ Generation style, not even in like a mature/modern/”bad-girl” twist. And the music video was just.. ugh. The styling was the worst I have ever seen them in, THe stylists must have been super confused as to what the song is about… because I am too.

I hate that stupid rap part, it’s lame and doesn’t add anything to the song’s direction.

I’m disappointed because I expected much more from SNSD and their US debut. I’m also disappointed in Teddy Riley. He did much better with ‘Dr. Feelgood’.

AND! There is not good “Costume” theme for this! If you remember my tweet, I was really hoping something COOL would come out of this that I could make a costume for and people (with KPOP knowledge) would totally get as their previous songs have come with.
